EGGS, EGGS and More EGGS
PLAN FOR THE EASTER EGG HUNT & PICNIC
SATURDAY, April 19
9:00 – 11:00am.
The DreamHill Estates Neighborhood Association Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held at the DEERC property at 6802 Dorothy Louise Dr.
This year, as part of our Easter celebrations, we’re adding a sprinkle of excitement with a Silent Dessert Auction! All proceeds will help maintain our cherished community building, ensuring it remains a wonderful place for all our gatherings.
Come with your sweet tooth ready and your bidding spirit high! Whether you’re eyeing a decadent cake, a scrumptious pie, or an irresistible batch of cookies, your winning bid will not only score you a delightful treat but will also contribute to our neighborhood’s ongoing improvements.
Feeling generous? If you’d like to donate a dessert to the auction and showcase your baking talents, please let us know! Just send an email to info@dreamhill.org, and tell us about the sweet masterpiece you plan to bring.
Join us for a day of fun, frolic, and fabulous desserts. Let’s make this Easter egg-stra special for everyone!
Candy / Egg Donation – For each child please drop off at least a dozen prefilled plastic Easter eggs to Gloria’s and Bart’s at 4827 EBM any day between Sunday (4/13) through Friday (4/18) between 8:00AM and 6:00PM.
NO Confetti or real eggs please!!
There will be a variety of games and activities planned for the kids such as a tug-o-war, water relay, and pinata in addition to the egg hunt.
Parking will be available on the street as the space on the property will be used for the events. Please keep your vehicle on the pavement and do not park on a neighbor’s lawn. We ask that everyone park on one side of the street only so we do not hinder traffic.
Beside the primary hunting territory, there will be a roped off area just for toddler egg-hunters. Following the egg hunt, there will be a succession of games for all the kids as usual, as well as a piñata for the big bash.
This is usually one of the most fun events of the year as it tends to attract all ages, with a good showing of kids, parents and grandparents, as well as friends of each age group.
There will be a cookout as usual following the frantic search for eggs – look for yummy sausage and hot dogs in buns or tortillas, chips and drinks as well as meet-and-greets with all our neighbors and friends.
If you wish, bring your favorite sweet treat to share with neighbors.
