IT’S TIME FOR OUR CHRISTMAS PARTY THIS SATURDAY NIGHT – DECEMBER 8 AT 6! AT 4818 East Beverly Mae.
Good times lie ahead, and Carolyn and Carlos Resendez have a great big welcome for you Saturday night at the Villa at 4818 East Beverly Mae for the 2018 Christmas gathering. It’s a go whether it’s cold or rainy – it’ll be warm inside, with lots to eat and drink, friends to see, new neighbors to meet!
However, the rules have changed somewhat, so put all that covered dish planning back in the pantry! Carlos reports he’s planning on slow-roasting two turkeys and carving a ham for you to load your plates, along with dishes of mashed potatoes, green beans and other seasonal goodies, including tamales, beans and rice. There’s no need for anyone to bring anything – in fact, please don’t, he says, as there’s no room on the laden tables in the party room where dinner will be served. If you absolutely feel you have to bring something, please
bring desserts only.
SO, ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS BRING YOURSELVES AND YOUR FAMILY – AND A GOOD APPETITE.
Even if the wet weather continues into the weekend, it will be warm and welcoming inside, with lots of easy and close parking. So, plan to come over for a wonderful evening. The event begins at 6 p.m. in the main house with appetizers and drinks (wine, beer, mixed drinks, soft drinks and water – it’s BYOB for your special top-shelf choice though). At 7 p.m., the plan is for everyone walk down the hall to the party house for what promises to be a wonderful dinner. Desserts will be back in the main house, or you can keep on going in the party room or next to a blazing chiminea on the porch.
