Neighborhood Night Out
Tuesday, October 7: This annual event (actually National Night Out,
but Neighborhood Night Out sounds more friendly) is the first Tuesday
of October and so will be on Tuesday, October 3 this year. It’s a
chance for neighbors to walk their street and catch up with friends and
people who are new to the area.
Mark and Irma Prange will be hosting anyone who would like to stop
by and check out their wildly successful new butterfly garden at 5007
East Beverly Mae. He’ll have light refreshments an on hand and seating at the garden.
Many people at the Labor Day Breakfast asked about what to plant to attract butterflies during the
Monarch migration, so Mark and Calvin Finch will be on hand to answer questions about butterfly
gardening and to talk about the range of butterflies that will visit a garden this time of year. They’ll
be available from 4:30 onward. More details later. (No rain date)
