DREAMHILL ESTATES
NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS For YOU!
Early Summer 2014 Vol 6.2
JULY 4 th PARADE and COOKOUT
Get ready for our annual neighborhood parade and cookout! For those of you who could not participate last year, it was like none other before. We are hopeful to get members of our Firehouse 32 involved again at least for the parade like usual, and who knows what after that as their time allows. Regardless, the time we do spend together as a community at this event is always very special. Please set aside your morning to cheer those in the parade, then on to the clubhouse afterwards for a tasty cookout.
DATE: Friday, July 4th – No Rain Date
PARADE: Starts at 9:00am, large triangle for all parade participants
COOKOUT: Clubhouse grounds after the parade for cookout

FUTURE COLLECTIONS for BULKY ITEMS & BRUSH
Per the City website, our area is due for BULKY ITEMS collection in the month of JULY. The next BRUSH collection will be in the month of OCTOBER. This is just a heads up in case you want to start planning when to clean that garage out or when to trim those trees back.
Please “ do not ” place anything out to the street before getting the City notice!!

STATUS Of The WBM DRIVEWAY ISSUE
As you can see there has been no visible improvement on the situation of getting the driveway construction site closed. We have been working hard to get this resolved and are just as frustrated at the slow pace things have moved as you are sick of looking at it. The issue is not over by any means! Our District 8 office has been instrumental with negotiations between us and the City all throughout and we continue working to strive for a resolution.
This has been a topic of conversation every month at the Board meetings. I urge anyone who is interested in finding out what is being done to please attend the meetings. We encourage you in general as neighbors and residents of this community to attend these meetings to show support of the Board members who work very hard on your behalf to make Dreamhill Estates the great place it is to live. Hope to see some of you on June 26 th .

2014 DUES UPDATE
A bit THANKS to so many of you who have sent in your 2014 dues. Although they are voluntary, these dues help pay for clubhouse utilities as well as the events like the Easter Egg hunt and July 4 th , to name a few. As a dues paying household, it also allows you to vote on neighborhood issues. If you have misplaced the letter we mailed to your home, you may still mail dues to the treasurer. Dues are $25, make check payable to DENA and mail them to Herb Rippa, 4903 Belle Ellen. Thank you for your support.
