Saying Goodbye to Our Beloved Neighbor
Long time neighbor, Frank Obregon, passed away on June 6. He and his wife Rose, of 41 years, moved into Dreamhill Estates in 1987 and raised their three children in the neighborhood. Frank and his wife were often out walking, with their two cute, white fur-balls trailing along with them. Frank was a caring person and a good neighbor. Our neighborhood events will not be the same without him. Here he is with his wife Rose and longtime neighbor and friend at the Labor Day Breakfast in 2018.
He will be missed and his family is in our prayers.
His daughter Genevieve created a Facebook post to honor her father and provide information about the service to friends.

The family will hold services at Mission Park South (1700 S.E. Military Dr., San Antonio, TX 78214). On Wednesday, June 10, visitation will begin at 5:00 pm followed by a rosary at 7:00 p.m. On Thursday, June 11, a memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial.
Because of COVID restrictions, the funeral home will require the wearing of masks to all services. On Wednesday, they will permit only 15 people at a time in the viewing room, so there may be a line for visitation. They will broadcast the rosary online for anyone outside the room.
On Thursday, they will hold the memorial in a larger room allowing up to 40 people to attend (wearing masks). They will broadcast the service on a screen outside for those exceeding 40 to watch from their vehicles. The burial will be open to anyone who wears a mask and practices appropriate social distancing.
If you have pictures or stories about Frank that you would like to share with the neighborhood, you can post a comment on this page or email them to info@dreamhill.org
