These photos were taken by Joe and Winnie at sunset this afternoon.
The lighting was a magnificent mixture of pink an gray after the rainstorm this afternoon. Some of you may have noticed the glorious full rainbow in the eastern sky above our little neighborhood. Unfortunately, the hawk was more interested in drying his wings after a record breaking week of rain than posing for the camera and we could not get a shot of him with the rainbow in the background.
